The hit of Paul Williams (1949) was covered by many artists, to Tommy Dorsey, Luis Armstrong, Frank Sinatra, Chuck Berry (1960).
Ah here's a dance you should know
Ah baby when the lights are down low
I say grab your baby then go
And do the Hucklebuck,
Do the Hucklebuck
If you don't know how to do it man you're out of luck
Push ya baby out then you hunch her back
Start a little movement in your sacroiliac
Wiggle like a stick wobble like a duck
That's what you do when you do the Hucklebuck
Oh - Workout
Ah here's a dance you should know
Ah baby when the lights are down low

A little bit of Twist a little bit of this
And if you don't know how to do it ask my little sis
Push your partner out then you hunch her back

Same with the left knee (2x)
Kick with right foot to left
Kick with left foot to the right,
Jump with both feet to straddle and turn meanwhile a quarter (90 degrees)
Jump both feet back to the closed position (and clap your hands)
(and start it again in the new direction...)
Video: as it may look ...
(We searched preferably brief and clear movies without much show, spectacle and competition.
Better suggestions are welcome.)
'Hucklebuck' means redneck: pauper, or stupid peasant.
Especially as ghetto language it also has (multiple) sexual meaning (s). Usually, it is used for a position where she lies on her back, and he pressed her knees next to her head.
