Finally out of school! Finally a diploma in hand! Another reason to celebrate.

One hundred days before the end of the last school (secondary school and compulsory attendance at school) is celebrated in Belgium Chrysostom. John Chrysostom (345-407), the holy Archbishop of Constantinople, was a gifted orator and patron saint of preachers. Hence his nickname Chrysostom (=Golden Mouth). Originally Chrysostom festivity was a eloquence tournament for oratory students (seniors). Sometimes there is still a speech or an academic session held. And certainly a one hundred days party, whit mocking with teachers and fellow students, sometimes with their own students show. The celebration is on January 27, but for practical reasons the Chrysostom party will usually be on a Friday.
