I do not know how it happened, but I got the idea to make a list of songs and tunes that make you happy. Maybe the long lasting and far too gray and cold spring weather had something to do with it.
So I looked for funny songs, energetic, humorous of wich you will become properly cheerful and jolly. It was a far too long list. That's why I separated them into
an English
and the rest: instrumental and language.
If you would need more, you can find a lot at up-tempo genres like mambo, Viennese waltz, jive, quickstep ed. You can also peek at carnival music.
Under Argentine tango I found none, even American and slow waltz sounds rarely cheerful. And other slower tempos as rumba and slow are not exactly exuberant.
Contagious laughter can with several 'laughing song' versions, but also with Elvis.
